Today’s weather in Tennessee
The state of Tennessee is located in the southeast of the United States and most of the state will experience humid sub-tropical climate. The higher elevations are located in the Appalachian Mountains and they can see mountain temperate climate and in some cases humid continental. Some of the main influences in Tennessee weather include the Gulf of Mexico, the mountain altitude and the Atlantic Ocean. The summers in most of the state are humid and hot with most of the state seeing temperatures of 90 Fahrenheit (32 Celsius) as the average high during the summer. The winters can be anywhere from cool to mild depending on where you are. If you are in the Appalachian Mountains, you can expect colder temperatures during the winter months.
