The state of South Carolina is located in the southeastern shore of the United States and it has humid sub-tropical climate. The weather in the state is affected by a couple of things. The first one is its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, the second one would be the altitude in some of the areas inland and finally hurricane season has a great affect in the state of South Carolina. Most of the state will experience hot summers and mild winters. There are some things that most of the state's cities will have in common. For example the wettest time of the year is March and the driest month is November. The highest temperature ever recorded in South Carolina is 113 Fahrenheit (45 Celsius).
